Danylo Ferreira & Bryan Courtois

New Technologies in Performance Art is a visual and conceptual collection dedicated to independent artists and performers working in video art, sound and digital media. Highlighting the persistent tension between the capacity of transgression of all categorizations by artistic disciplines and all of the same to conceive of oneself as an artist acting in the world nourished by a reflection or an approach linking to other mediums .

“CALL TO ARMS” by PENTHOUSS

CALL TO ARMS - Duration: 8 minutes 27 seconds is a film by artist group PentHouss which documents their immersive artwork of the same name that used dance, sound, light, optical illusion to explore themes of governmental power, control, and social unrest. Informed by the oppressive military dominance that they felt in their native Israel, along with the growing ubiquity of immoral violence against civilians by police forces around the world.

Integral to PentHouss’ ethos and way of working is a celebration of collaboration, with a pluralist approach to research and production, involving collaborators from a range of disciplines and backgrounds. PentHouss have worked with a range of collaborators, from filmmakers, designers, architects, 3D artists, musicians, choreographers, and movers, to dance companies such as Bat Sheva. PentHouss have exhibited work internationally including at @weareuglyduck London, @scigalleryrdam, Holon Design Museum, @telavivmuseumofart , MU Eindhoven Museum, Inbal Dance Theatre Tel Aviv, Jaffa Museum and @opyumfestival amongst others.
